Project Athena - Day 90 (Musical Instuments)

The Sound of Music

Rainy days are tough for shooting. So here is another one from yesterday's outing to the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. Did I mention that yesterday while strolling through the new Fort Collins History Room I was pleasantly surprised to find a t-shirt that I designed back in 1997 hanging in a display at the museum! It was designed for an organization called Poudre River Cleanup. Weird. I didn't take a picture of it. Also weird that I am old enough to  see my work in a museum. Kind of smiling.

Project Athena - Day 89 (Musical Instruments)

Blow Your Own Horn

Build your self-esteem by recalling all the ways you have succeeded, and your brain will be filled with images of you making your achievements happen again and again. Give yourself permission to toot your own horn, and don’t wait for anyone to praise you.
— Jack Canfield

Today, I found my shot at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery in the "Music and Sound Lab". What a great place to play with all sorts of instruments and sound machines. This interactive horn building station is very popular with the kids and I had to wait my turn to arrange the horns for my picture. Smiling.
