Project Athena - Day 35 (Textures, Lines and Patterns)

From the Chrysalis...

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.
— Maya Angelou

My last day of textures, lines and patterns and wouldn't you know, I end with an insect?  A very enjoyable shoot at the Butterfly Pavilion in Denver today.

I found myself smiling the whole time.

Line em' Up

Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but sometimes, playing a poor hand well.
— Jack London

Did I mention that I like bridges yet? Maybe it is the peacemaker / mediator in me that finds these structures so compelling to photograph. There is a definitive path leading somewhere, in this case to the CSU Lagoon Concert tonight.
